As a salesperson you need to realize that people WANT to buy and your job is to help them understand what they’re looking for. They’re there for a reason even if they say they aren’t.
A great salesperson should also simplify all the complicated information about that product or service and break it down into a way that the customer understands, therefore gaining the customers trust. Can you provide the customer insight? i.e. information about the product that’s beyond the obvious and be the expert on the product or service.
